The CS50 fair is an end-of-term celebration of all ~800 on-campus students' final projects, attended by 2,000+ students, faculty, and staff. Current and former teaching staff are welcome to attend as are faculty, friends, and family.

Two thirds of CS50 students have never taken CS before. Students from Harvard College, Harvard Business School, Harvard Extension School, Harvard Graduate School of Design, Harvard Kennedy School, and area high schools take CS50.

Students will have completed nine problem sets inspired by the arts, humanities, social sciences, and sciences. Topics include abstraction, algorithms, data structures, encapsulation, resource management, security, and software engineering. Languages include C, Python, and SQL plus students’ choice of: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (for web development); Java or Swift (for mobile app development); or Lua (for game development). The course culminates in a final project displayed at the CS50 Fair.
